G/REWATHA NATIONAL SCHOOl Was Started in 1933/02/19 ,by Sir Lalitha Rajapaksha - the first minister of minister of judicial. In Balapitiya ,sri lanka .Advanced Level science section was started in .1986.01.01 for the benefit of A/L Students . There are former students of the school in every walk of life iuchuding many respectable professions . Both maths and science streams were available for students to follow . A new laboratory ,with a new three storied building was established on 1988.01.01 for the benefit of A/L students . A Large number of students has been selected for the universities annually to follow medicine . Engineering and other courses . And also there are former students of the school in every walk of life iuchuding many respectable professions .
